Blue Jay, and thanks for hosting. I think it's pretty obvious that most people want Orb to win on Saturday- and there is a real chance that he could. He's already beaten just about everyone else in the Preakness field at least once, with the possible exception of Titletown Five and Governor Charlie.

My only concern with him is that he's a deep closer ( we saw that at Churchill two weeks ago) and if he waits until too late in the race to make his move, the ground may very well run out on him. Otherwise, I'm not worried about him handling the track surface, and I know he's been sound since his Derby win. He's got a good team in Shug MaGaughey and Rosario, too.

So with that said, here are my picks for Saturday: Win- 1. Orb Place- 5. Mylute Show- 2.

Goldencents Alternates in case of a scratch: 4. Departing, 9. Itsmyluckyday, and 7.
