Thats not a good practice. But remember, keep looking forward not backwards. People generally will make their own decisions after meeting you.
Yeah, that would include about half of my former bosses. Nothing you can do about it. Maybe it would help to do a little introspection, and try to figure out what they didn't like about you, and whether in the future you can change or cover that aspect of your personality or working style.
Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't.
If you can get affidavits from potential employers, you have a lawsuit - speak with an attorney.
I am a babynurse in nyc and a very good one. At 59 I truly adore my job and it is the only thing I want to do in life. I have been one for all my life it seems like to me, I just wrote a book for first time parents and it should be coming out soon... I don't know how many of you here are first time parents or simply parents and have had the services of a baby nurse... Any caregiving job is not easy and I assure you that: The same way there are horrible caregivers, the same way there are horrible clients... I have top of the line references from many reputable families and No I do not use those horrible clients as references because I know that they are going to use that opportunity to badmouth me... And frankly speaking, I have tons of great references from really satisfied clients but certain clients do not stop at anything... They go to certain boards and if someone raves about me, they do not make themselves known to me nor the client but rely on the boards like babybites and such to do their dirty work... I'd like to know what my rights are there because I do not feel that a board can badmouth a caregiver on hearsay of a client, I know no one on the board so it is (I believe) wrong for them to tell my prospective clients not to hire me because they have a client who does not like me or has had an issue with me but is telling only her/his side of the story... As I embark with my book that I am so proud of, all my knowledge is shared with first time parents, I do not need this type of propaganda... I appreciate all the advice you have shared and those to come... I am not into suing people, I just want them to come forth so they can tell their story but also allow me to tell my side of the story there are 3 sides to all stories, Yours, Mine and the "Truth"... Thanks nycbabynurse 2 days ago .
A baby nurse is a woman who is trained exclusively in the care of the newborn baby. She is not a medical nurse... I give you a for instance: Back in the day the people who employed baby nurses were the rich and famous basically, (it was then considered a luxury) Today because of the growth of women in Coorp America, it is considered a need and necessity so many employ a baby nurse especially first time parents. Back in the day also a baby nurse was called a wet nurse, they used to breastfeed the newborns of those moms who did not have enough milk to breastfeed their babies... Then in became baby nurse or newborn specialist... nycbabynurse 2 days ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
