A client's website has been hacked, the hosting company won't respond, does anyone know what I should do to fix it?

If you are admin and hosting company not respond, you should be able to do this: 1. Change all passwords related to your website (FTP admin and user passwords, each Email passwords, databases, other applications passwords if running any..) 2. Search for "not your" files added by hackers - delete them from server 3.

Search for your infected files! - replace them from your clean backups, (do not try to fix it), if do not have backups, request clean backups from hosting company. 4.

Contact Google, Microsoft, Yahoo ..and other search engines websites to place reconsideration request for your site, explain that your site is viruses free, ask to remove security warnings if any. 5.(1) Contact hosting company to request report of attack(s) and solutions! ....should include full list of infected and added files with details info date and file, compare with your search and act accordingly.6.

Consider to move your website to better hosting company with 24/7 support, and better security and services. Good luck.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
