No. Until you sign the title, and go to the DMV and get a new title in your own name, the car does not legally belong to you, and you cannot sell it.

You cannot sell it because you do not legally own it. You have to have a title in your name to legally own and then sell a car. The buyer is buying it from you, not the person you bought it from.As of right now, the person you bought it from still legally owns the car - not you.
