A futuristic romance about a human woman falling in love with her alien husband. Temperature wise. She marries him and they go to his planet and his planet is really hot temperature wise and she starts working in a kitchen and she is always cutting herself on the strange spiky fruit they eat.

Every night he finds her on the floor because they sleep with coals in the bed so one night he takes them out for her; eventually they fall in love and at the end he tries to sacrifice himself so she won't die but they were going to kill her anyway but than they found out she was pregnant so they didn't.
