No. Because it wouldn't be enforceable. Child support is a legal entitlement for the CHILD.
The mother and father can certainly come to a side agreement between the two of them, and if the mother isn't receiving any type of public assistance she can certainly refrain from filing for child support - but this isn't going to mean anything. So, if he doesn't follow through with what he is telling you -your only option is going to be to file for child support. You aren't going to get him to pay for anything else.
And frankly, it is not even in your best interests to do this. Do you realize that if he pays your cell, gives you a car etc., you will need to report this as income and pay taxes on it? But if you are receiving child support, you do not have to pay taxes on it?
Instead of all of this "who shot John" nonsense, why don't the two of you figure out a fair and reasonable monthly child support amount that he has to pay directly to you each month? There is no requirement that either of you go to court as long as the two of you are satisfied with the payment arrangements.
You can enter into an agreement with anyone without a lawyer.....to make it more official, some people get them notarized. However, if the other party does not honor the conditions of the agreement, you have to go through the civil process in court to sue them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
