Cindy those gentleman were not practicing their 2nd Amendment right. They were illegally carrying weapons and probably gang members. Which is why they ran from the cops.
The problem here is people that confuse law abiding citizens with criminals. This situation is even more reason for law abiding citizens to have the ability to defend themselves and others.
