A virus/trojan that claims pops up windows saying "Hard disk failure"?

Buy a new HDD. Back-Up important files to USB flash drive. Install new HDD in PC.

- Copy files to HDD.

If the information about the hard drive failure was coming from the S.M.A.R.T diagnostics built in to the system BIOS then yes there is a fault with your drive so back up your data NOW. Find out which hard drive you have in your pc and get a diagnostic utility from the manufacturer, this will test it properly. Do the short AND long test it comes with.

Look in the system information in accessories system tools and click the components tab then storage tab then disks, this will give you the model number of your drive, google it to see which brand it is then get the testing utility from the manufacturer. It may be just a coincidence that this has happened since installing the new video card but don't ignore it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
