With pure html, no. But with a serverside script (php, c#, vb, perl, or other) yes. You would stream the file to user.

In that case just the serverside script has access to the origin files.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
