It must decrease. V=IR suppose V=10 unit and R=5 10 = 5*I I=2 unit now if R=10 10=10*I I=1 unit so it means if R increases, I will become smaller.

The current will decrease. V = I * R If V stays the same and R grows, I must shrink.
