In Webkit on iPhone/iPad/iPod, specifying styling for an :active pseudo-class for an tag doesn't trigger when you tap on the element. How can I get this to trigger? Example code: Click me iphone css webkit mobile-safari pseudo-class link|improve this question edited Jan 16 at 10:13BoltClock's a Unicorn?101k14145377 asked Oct 7 '10 at 19:09Jesse Rusak11.6k12438.
... Applied just once, as opposed to every button element seemed to fix all buttons on the page. Alternatively you could use this small JS library called 'Fastclick'. It speed up click events on touch devices and takes care of this issue too.
1 for recommending FastClick. – Matt Feb 20 at 16:05.
Add an event handler for ontouchstart in your tag. This causes the CSS to magically work. Click me.
If you're using at least two, make sure they're in the right order or they all break: a:link a:visited a:hover a:active ..in that order. Also, If you're just using :active, add a:link, even if you're not styling it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
