This feature is implemented by keeping a connection pool in ActiveRecord::Base that is a Hash indexed by the class. Class and superclass of all other errors raised by Active Record. An :adapter key.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
