The Samson Option is the name that some military analysts and authors have given to Israel's deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a last resort against an entity which is on the verge of inflicting severe damage to the state of Israel. The name is a reference to the biblical figure Samson who pushed apart the pillars of a Philistine temple, bringing down the roof and killing himself and thousands of Philistines who had captured him, crying out "Let me die with the Philistines!" (Judges 16:30) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson_Option Anyway, it is obvious Israel will never face a situation where there is an enemy entity, be it nation or terrorist organization, that will have the capability to destroy Israel. But I would love to see Lebanon are Iran and a few others turned into a nuclear waste.
I would gloat for the rest of my days.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
