Disagree. As someone else mentioned he could have done nothing but instead decided to engage them diplomatically, and the process was not easy.. His administration was able to get Russia, China, and European nations who have financial interests in Iran to ratchet up the sanctions over the last few years to get Iran to the negotiating table. With Iranian economy at near collapse they finally decided to negotiate.
He put together a coalition of China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, plus Germany to negotiate a deal. It took them 18 months to come to an agreement and is now fighting with Congress for their approval. How the heck can anyone believe that this process was "easier" than just sending in the bombers or doing nothing.
That is totally ridiculous.
No. Its because Iran is already a member of the nuclear fission club and is also the 9th and newest member of the Zero Gravity Space Faring nations club. They already have the correct knowledge to build nuclear warheads and its only a matter of time before their centrifuges enrich the required kilograms of U-235.
All of this was accomplished in 35 years under 19 UN sanctions. If you were the President of the United States......what would you do? .....what would YOU do?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
