I finally found the solution to the problem, which was trivial but entirely non-obvious.
I am running into this problem right now. However, the above suggestion to test if my class can be serialized to JSON does not work. Which version of Spring-web are you using?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
