I believe your problem may lie in your Web API implementation. Both the client and the server must support CORS. According to Carlos' post Web API does not natively support CORS.

His post includes a code sample.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
