This is the expected result, as the Intent you create in your AlarmReceiver class explicitly launches your Note Activity. Why not simply create the Notification in your AlarmReceiver? (rather than launching your activity).
The problem is that it opens up what looks like the main activity again if the app is closed. – Jez Fischer Jan 19 at 18:55 @Jez: No. Calling startActivity starts an Activity!
As Dave says, move the Notification-creation code into your AlarmReceiver. – Christopher Jan 19 at 19:20 Ahh ok. Thanks for your help guys :-) – Jez Fischer Jan 19 at 19:30 OK i've attempted to move the notification code to the AlarmReceiver class, but I am getting many syntax errors about many methods not being undefined for the type BroadcastReceiver and AlarmReceiver.
– Jez Fischer Jan 19 at 20:43 From a quick look, I don't see anything that wouldn't work in a receiver. Can you post a new question with the code if you're still having trouble? – Christopher Jan 197 at 8:57.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
