All you talented writers out there... help?

Hmm.. lets see.. Musical: I use to play the piano. I would never say I could of done it professionally. I did play in a few gigs, but it never held my interest for too long.

I can DJ. I like mixing up tracks - but I'm not considering to do it professionally either - I have a lot of DJ friends, and I could not do the hours they do. I'm a social person, but I can't imagine immersing myself in the clubbing scene as a career.

Visual Art: I'm not talented with paint. But, I can draw. I usually focus on drawing anime - I have considered making a professional portfolio.

I'm also good at digital media - mainly Animation. I was thinking of taking it to the next level - I still need to research the market and such. See if its a potential avenue.

Acting: I have performed on stage. I do like acting, and my theatre teacher urges me to consider professional classes. However, its more fun to me.. then anything else.

I don't think it's something I would want to focus on. I would prefer to write scripts - be behind the scene than on stage. Dancing: Hell YEAH.

I love dancing. I use to be in a hip-hop crew. We preformed at clubs and did competitions.

But, a lot of people moved away. I haven't thought of continuing dancing in a group. Its more solo now.

Sports: I use to play netball through my primary and high school years. I have a dozen of medals and trophies but don't think I could of done it professionally. I'm not keen on the idea either.

I just find it to be a fun activity but not a career. Others: I'm good at photography. I really enjoy capturing picturesque moments.

I'm good at fashion - I can sew and have a good eye for detail. I made a few things for family and friends. A few people come to me for pieces and such.

But, its more a hobby. However, Writing is always my #1. :).

I have no musical talent whatsoever. I had a friend who tried to teach me the bass but that didn't go anywhere. I used to draw a lot when I was a kid.

At that time I loved all those B-grade monster movies, such as Godzilla, so that's what I drew. When I was in high school I dabbled in cartooning a bit, and it was through this that one of my main written characters got his start. I was all right, but never really good, and after high school I put the drawing pen down for good.

You don't want to hear me sing or see me dance. Trust me. It's ugly.

The only acting I ever did was for a sixth-grade play based on Dickens's "A Christmas Carol". I played the third spirit, the spirit of Christmas yet to come, and I picked that part because my face was hidden under a cowl and I had no lines to memorize, only gestures. I played some baseball when I was a kid and some softball when I became an adult.

Now I watch my youngest son play baseball. That's about it!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
