Allignment of controls in Datatemplate of listbox in silverlight?

I think the problem is with the nested grid elements that you're using in your DataTemplate . You can simplify the visual tree and achieve the desired results by using a single Grid that has the column and row definitions and then use the Grid. ColumnSpan and Grid.

RowSpan attached properties as shown in the following XAML.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
