Am I the only one who thinks that it's silly to be so worried about nuclear power in a landlocked area?

We will have to wait for some people to study the events of the power plant and see what really happened. My opinion is that the loss of power and the failure of back up generators was the key problem. But they took more than a week to restore power and even then it was not a high priority.

If it were my plant I would have lined up cars to tap into their generators to get something going. Or had Honda generators air lifted in. Obviously the managers did not set that hig a priority on power.

So we have to wait and see. But I will expect the main problem to be that the back up generators were supposed to keep the cooling systems going and when they failed, they did not know what to do. That can be fixed at any plant for not much money at all.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
