Am I the only one who thinks the Beatles are over-rated?

No your not. And Kids today try to say there the best and most talented and stuff when there really ignorant cause they weren't alive in there prime.

The Beatles had some catchy riffs, but their vocal harmonies - which everyone rants and raves about - were actually very basic. They are not musically as good as, say, Jefferson Airplane, any of Frank Zappa's bands, Primus or Alice in Chains. But anyone who claims to be an avid Beatles fan who owns a gun will shoot me in the head for saying that.

Thankfully, none of my friends own a gun. EDIT: May I add that any of that crazy orchestral music on their albums, including Help! , was NOT written by any of the Beatles.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
