Etiquette and ethics of most reputable Genealogical Researcher is that they would not "create" a "tree" on ancestry or any other site of a person who is not part of their lineage. There are civil laws that protect the privacy of living people and that guard against non-related people from using records of deceased people. Personally I would not do it.
But, then I find people who have added husbands or wives, or are NOT actually related to members of my family to be disgusting and much like thieves.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
