AMD FX-8120 vs. Intel i5 370k (which is best for gaming)?

If you're talking a i5 3570k, well then its a no-brainer. Forget the FX 8120. Get the i5 3570k.

Its a great processor and is the new improved version of the beloved i5 2500k. In fact, the i5 3570k is perhaps the #1 CPU right now for gaming. The only caveat I would have is that you mention photo editing and rendering in addition to gaming.

If this is the case, you should try for a i7 3770k which has the added benefit of hyper-threading that the i5 lacks. Although hyper-threading does absolutely nothing for gaming, it will help for video work. Big time.

And the i7 3770k absolutely annihilates the FX 8120 and even the 8150. But I just can't recommend the AMD proc. No matter what.

The Bulldozer line of procs was just pretty much awful, at least they were a huge disappointment. Don't do it. Resist the temptation to save a few $$ on the FX 8120.

Stick with Intel, you will be so much happier you did..

Depends on how much you want to spend cause AMD is like super money saving. I personally like Intel more cause I have grown up to it but I guess the AMD would be cause it is a 8 core processor.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
