Artificial Methods of Birth Control Contraceptives such as pills, condoms and tubal ligation are not condoned by the Christian Church because of their unnatural nature that goes against religious principles but they permit Rhythm method because is a natural method but for them Abstinence is by far the best. Although Sex is accepted to be practice and performed only by legally wedded couples in the Church and in the State (Government) So illicit sex such as pre-marital sex and sexual promiscuity among wedded partners other than their on husbands and wives are considered adulterous and sinful thus unacceptable. Also they are silent about withdrawal method since it is messy and go against procreation.

Its like having sex without the responsibility. But the increasing rate of sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS, HIV, STD's, Hepatitis and other sexual fluid transmittable diseases that are on the rise urges the Christian Church to air it stands on the subject of using condoms and safe sex thus to lessen the transfer of sexually transmitted diseases. So the question becomes - what is the lesser evil?

The Catholic Church sees birth control as an admirable and commendable thing, and suggests married couples learn all they can about the ethical practice of it.
