Android: Cursor requery when replacing entire database?

Solved by discarding the cursor, closing and reopening the database, and then recreating the cursor. I use an Observer to inform the activity of the database change, as follows.

Solved by discarding the cursor, closing and reopening the database, and then recreating the cursor. I use an Observer to inform the activity of the database change, as follows: @Override public void update(Observable observable, Object data) { // database changed runOnUiThread(new Runnable() { @Override public void run() { stopManagingCursor(cursor); dbAdapter.close(); dbAdapter.open(); cursor = getAccounts(); startManagingCursor(cursor); adapter. ChangeCursor(cursor); } }); }.

Yes, that also has no effect. I'll update the question. – Graham Borland Jan 9 at 23:07.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
