Hmm not unless you could either change the architecture of the thumb drive or rewrite the driver software to recognize it as another device...?! What kind of device are you trying to have the thumb drive impersonate?
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
