There's no doubt that our representation is being diluted as the population grows. The U.S. House of Reps should be expanded to provide more democratic (small d) representation of the U.S. population. Our population has doubled over the past several decades, but the U.S. House of Reps has stayed the same size, which means we are only getting 1/2 the representation we used to get.
More representatives would mean a better chance for diverse views and 3rd parties to get a shot at obtaining House seats. Of course, the 2 major parties don't want to dilute their power, so any expansion is unlikely any time soon.
And the population has grown a hundred times the since its structure was designed with the Constitution. But I'm so glad you understand this. So few seem to.No help though in helping come up with a number for representative.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
