Be methodical As you take the sheet out of the dryer, look for the four corners. Match each head corner to its corresponding foot corner, then put the four corners together, holding all four corners in your right hand. Run your left hand between the fabric to the fold and grasp that point and shake the sheet with both hands.

You will have a long rectangle. Match the left bottom corner to the left top corner using your right hand and the right bottom corner to the right top corner using your left hand. You now have a tidy package that you can complete folding to your liking..

The first one is the hard one You can't reach across the 60"x80" queen size sheet. (I can't, and I'm taller than average). I do it by essentially making the first three folds at the same time.

First, I spread it roughly on the floor. I take one edge and bring the corners together. Then I raise it up and smooth it down as far as I comfortably can, but it's OK that I can't fold the entire sheet in half.

Then I again bring the two top corners together, and again smooth that down as far as it'll comfortably go. That makes it very easy to handle (either 15" or 20", depending on which side I'd grabbed), at least as far as I've folded it. Now I can use the first two folds as a guide.

I basically drape the folded part over one arm and let it dangle; it'll more or less hold itself together if I've done it neatly. As I raise up the unfolded parts off the floor, they tend to fall along the lines of the existing folds, and I smooth them down. When I'm done I've got the first three folds all done: two vertical ones, and the third fold horizontally across my arm.

I even out the two halves across my arm and smooth it all down. Then I repeat the arm-draping procedure twice more and I'm done. (The last two folds are easier, since I'm not also trying to propagate the vertical folds this time.) .
