Any useful ideas on things to do on a rainy day?
I usually take a slow walked to the library, and most of the time according to how much rain, I love to do gardening, the soil is much softer and the ground is easy to fork and plowed.
If you're staying indoors: cleango through your stuff and find things you have seen since the 1800s watch movies and eat popcorncatch up on tvmake somethingread! Research things on the internet that you never get the time to write hubs! Catch up on house workhave a few friends overhope this helps for your next rainy day :).
Rain is awesome I love it! My gf gets angry when I go out in the rain because she thinks I'll get sick -_- but I love it. You could always go jogging in the rain if it's not too cold, thats always fun for me.
Or stay indoors, plays some video games, cook some pizzas, turn off all the lights and watch some movies. If you're not a rain person, then this can be your time to relax and enjoy some peaceful time alone. (or with someone else).
There are a lot of fun things to do when it rains. One thing that I think is really a great idea is getting a bunch of people together and have a photo scavenger hunt. This article talks about doing it in a mall, but you can really do it just about anywhere.
Going for walks in the rain is one of my favourite things! Especially splashing in muddles. Especially after finishing the walk, I like to come home, sit beside a fire if I can, change into warm, comfy clothes.
Then I sit in my favourite chair with a good book and a warm drink and listen to the rain :).
Go for a walk around your suburb. Could be fun. Maybe skip in the rain too lol.

Find your favourite coffee shop and sit there with a great coffee and write a few dozen hubs :)My coffee + food recommendation for such an adventure are a Skim Mocha + Banana Bread (Toasted w/ butter). Have a nice and productive day!
If I'm with other people board games are great. If I'm alone I read a good book. Also, I wear comfortable socks and a sweater and make hot cocoa.
Been on a coffee shop then went to play a 1h soccer match with friends was not a highly productive day but it`s weekend and I deserve some rest :) Maybe after dinner I´ll go down-town to have a drink with friends.
I like the comforting feeling I get just by sitting in my room and being alone with my thoughts as I listen to the sound of the rain on my window. Just chill and enjoy it. If you like to be out in the rain, and there is a lake, pond or river near you, then I recommend going to one of these places and watching the effects of the rain on the water and the wild life.
I learn something every time I do this.
Hmmm...well there is shaving the family pet(s). That's always good for a laugh if you're into being gouged open like a field dressed game buck. Shaving the kids is good for a giggle too.
Especially if you have daughters. Messing with their hair is highly recommended. Juggling lit dynamite, time it just right so it falls into a deep chasm before it goes off.
You'll need to supply your own chasm. Mentally abusing your holiday ornaments as thy sit, once more, gathering ust in the garage, ttic, spare room, whatever. Make comments about them notbeing as sparkly, shiny, or somesuch.
They hate that. Run around the house totally insane, bashing everyone with a French loaf. Pick your nose and then arrange it all on a sheet of posterboard and call it art.

Psychologically scar your children's stuffed animals. Stay all day in the loo with the door locked and make car noises while on the pot. Keep your hand in your pocket whilst talking to the better half and jingle your change as loudly as possible.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
