Now that I'm older with kids. I deleted some of the angrier and profane songs from my angry and profane youth. They just don't resonate with me anymore.

Plus, I don't want my kids to be exposed to that kind of material. Anyone else? Asked by The_Baron 41 months ago Similar Questions: delete songs iTunes Library longer fit lifestyle Recent Questions About: delete songs iTunes Library longer fit lifestyle Entertainment > Music.

I have I have deleted some songs from my iTunes library. Didn't have any profane ones but I certainly had some that didn't resonate with me any more. I also cleared out a lot of my CDs for the same reason - just didn't play them and couldn't even remember why they interested me enough to purchase them in the first place.

It feels good having a little room for growth and I also like having space on my iPod. Good question.

1 I can't think of anything I've deleted because the music I've collected over the years is like an audio scrapbook to me of times and places in my life. I guess I wasn't much of an angry or profane youth and when I was growing up, songs had to be at least clean enough to play on the radio. As I've gotten older, I have been introduced to more profane music (mostly Hip-Hop) that I quite like, just not when I'm around my kids.

Plus, whatever doesn't resonate with me now will possibly resonate with me again. I admit it, I'm a musical packrat.

2 Depending on how old they are, they'll have their own angry and profane songs soon enough anyway. Chances are, they'll be worse than yours.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
