Anybody, got a true and easy solution to be able to run old progs on win 7; i.e. microstation modelor 95 cad prog?

Anybody, got a true and easy solution to be able to run old progs on win 7; i.e. Microstation modelor 95 cad prog basic microstation works but, modelor solids prog won't sump'n bout 32 bit error crap; excuse me nuisance error. I want to emulate the old 32 bit install prog for modelor as well as it to be able to go to that emulation everytime by clicking on the icon; without having to reconfigure, search, hunt, type, hope, pound on my 1950's metal desk, curse, seek further knowledge, cross my fingers, wait on my sphinxter to blow a seal, and last but not least after I calm down say a quiet prayer to GOD?

Awww! Come on now its christmas, I figured I was hoping for a little bit much. No matter I like my solidworks a imeasurable amount a lot better; microstation just seems easier to examine and measure certain stubborn cad models though.

If I had to write different computer code languages for a living and have to constantly update my knowledge of them. Well, it almost in my mind would be comparable to something like the two movies starring charlton heston; either soylent green or the omega man. Reminds me of a time when a proffessor announced that we had to write a prog in any language of choice.

Out of 30 people myself and one other person had taken the C+ programming; everyone else took Basic. The aggravating bastard prof requested that any input keystrokes be only of numeric value or designated plus or minus character. FOR everyone that took basic this was a piece of cake; that f'n prof didn't know how to do it himself either in C+; Fortuanetly, the second person I was grouped with out pf the 30 had a older brother that f'n nailed the issue; even though it took about 5 pages of subroutines to resolve the problem.

That m'fn prof knew I didn't do it myself and I don't think he cared just as long as he now knew how to do it. I know nothing about any bombings or cohert operations taking place in laos or cambodia at this time. That's right what will everyone say in the latest headlines today; Now that they don't have Nixon to push around anymore!

Funny you should mention those places. I had some guys on the ground to talk to. I would get some new software and use the better new hardware.

If I had to use the old stuff, I would just run an older DOS. But I was never all that good at this. My thing was expert scanning and reconstruction.

If this is something you need to do often, look into VMware, you can run a windows95 or XP virtual machine.

Thanks dude, will percevere up and onwards jst to see if I can. Don't use it very often but, I still want to milk the academic version of modelor 95 to the hilt. I'm damn sure gonna try and squirell my way around any of these issues, as long as I am able to breathe in and ot; rrrghh haahaagain many thanks C.O.D. 7 days ago .

At least with some programs, you can get them to run in compatibilith mode using this method: 1. Right click on the icon. 2.

Select "Properties" 3. Click the "Compatibility" tab. 4. Make sure the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" is checked.

5. From the drop down box below that, select the OS you wish to emulate.6. Click OK.

Now when you double click the icon it should run in that compatibility mode.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
