From what I can tell - "A cartomante - Machado de Assis" is a Shakespearean parody. Are you asking how to make a plot parody? I would pick a well known work - parodies are tough when the work is unknown - and create a derivative.
Have an aim in mind, be trying to make a point with your parody. Then, when determining the plot, simply outline the original work's plot and add your variations (the variations that make it a parody). Hope this helps!
For a book report, write an introduction, an overview, an analysis, and your thoughts.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
