Anyone else being driven crazy by the comment post lag time?

It's not just comment time, but more than 6 minutes ago (before I realized you posted the same topic question) I posted one too and it hasn't come up. Everything is lagging. I am going to "borrow" your bug tag thread and add it to my question too (once it comes up so I can edit it).

Wish I could talk to you in real time to say thanks. (Edit add on comment - It's now almost an hour and my question still isn't up under New Answers on my Mahalo Answers Page using both Mozilla and Explorer views. But someone is seeing it somewhere because there's already an answer.

This is truly maddening. One might even wonder if Mahalo doesn't game the system so that some questions are over an hour old before they ever hit the page and subsequently end up off the grid. ).

Yes! Just last night I posted comments in the spam thread only to not only have them show up just under and hour later but also end up having duplicate comments which now I cant edit or vanish :( These little bugs are kinda maddening and makes me want to use the site less and less.

This issue has frustrated me to no end. I don't see how there can be an across the board cache issue on comments for just two people! (which is what the devs think since only myself and @buddawiggi have spoken up) If I look in spy, I can see comments posted in real time, but when I go to that thread... they don't show up for almost an hour.

This also goes for my own comments as well. When I hit to post it, I can see it... but it will disappear when the page refreshes. I'm not sure what other information I can give the devs on this. It's all comments across the board.

You can see them in spy, you can see the note on your profile that someone has commented, but you need to wait 40 minutes to see it.

Yes it is annoying. That's why I asked a related question recently: mahalo.com/answers/when-mahalo-switched-....

It's funny. Sometimes it is up like a snap; while other times it can take until the next day. It is annoying, and I think this may be down to the type of computer browser people use.

Just to let you know our developers have been looking into this issue throughout the day and will continue to do so until the problem is resolved. In the *best case* scenario this could be as fixed as soon as Friday, but that depends on what the devs find when they open this box o' bugs. We appreciate your patience as we hammer this out and we're always happy to hear your feedback as we squash these problems!

We pushed out a fix last night and it seems like everything is in working order again :) Thanks for all the reports through our feedback system and sorry for the inconvenience this bug may have caused.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
