I seem to be eating the same boring things. Looking for new low points options that satisfy. Asked by auntd 50 months ago Similar questions: Weight Watcher's favorite snack Health > Fitness & Diet.

Gh Fiber Snacks that taste GOOD I am a sweets person, so many of my snacks lean in that direction. If you're in the mood for something chocolate, the best thing I have found is General Mills FiberOne bars. Kind of like a granola bar with chunks of chocolate and a chocolate drizzle on top.2 points because they have 9 GRAMS OF FIBER.In the same vein--chocolate, but with some crunch, Kashi GoLean Crunchy bars are 2 points (Caramel) or 3 points (Almond or Peanut) each.
Ice Cream--hands-down, it's Skinny Cow ice cream sanwiches.2 points. I also love yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. You can make your own pretty readily--or if you're on the road, 3 points for a fruit and yogurt parfait at McDonald's.
Salty/Crunchy snacks--Triscuits Thin Crisps. 3 points for 15, add a little bit of cheddar cheese and some tomato soup and you have lunch. I have also found that savoring one thing--like fresh pineapple, for me--is very satisfying.
I have been doing WW 4 months now, am down 24 lbs, and I just took a one week sabbatical from counting points. What I discovered was that I didn't have much of a craving for my old snacks--like candy bars--and when I had some, they were just not as enjoyable. It sounds cliche-ish, but now I would opt for any of the above over the things I used to reach for. I hope you find amongst these answers some new favorites too!
Good luck!.

I have gained at least 5 maybe 10 pounds in the last couple months or so and really do feel it. What I used to snack on were: zucchini sticks, b. Pepper, pretzels, air poppcorn, and some different types of crackers that were low points, and some cheeses.
I will say going to the meetings is very important even if you are a "lifer"! It keeps you on track and to stay focused on what you are eating! My will power at the moment is zero and I am having a real struggle getting myself motivated again.
Good luck with your "venture" I wish you all the success. I am sure I will get back on track sooner or later myself. Maybe after writing this it will have helped me!
I actually am a life time member. I haven't gone to the meetings in over a year! I really do need to be able to go back again but it isn't possible at the moment.

2 msbandit,Thanks for your response. Weight Watcher's is truly a great program. I did well going to the meetings but then got it in my head I could do it alone.
Weighing in and being accountable to someone helped me to stay on track. Now, I find myself giving in to small temptations. Writing down what you eat is such a key to it all.
Without the meetings & encouragement I find myself slipping on that as well. Your reply may just be the nudge I need to walk back into the meetings. (I don't want them to think I was a quitter.)I remember after weighing in & losing a couple pds.
I would walk out of the meetings all charged up & feeling like I could tackle the world! Sharing recipes, food ideas, etc.I have missed out on. I've been snacking on low fat string cheese, lots of fruit, high fiber bars, ("Fiber One" makes a great one!
) & using the "Flat Out" wraps (1 pt.) instead of bread. You mentioned the air popcorn & I forgot about that. It might help my mid afternoon hunger.
Congrats on being a 'life time member! " Do you still keep a diary of your food points? I wish you success as well!
I think I'll go into their web site & find out when the next meetings are. God Bless, & happy losing to you! .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
