Anyone else really excited about the upcoming movie Tron Legacy?

I think the Tron sequel is going to be great. It has a better chance of being true to the source material than, say GI Joe. The special effects have gone so much bigger and better since Tron was released, and I think that this will benefit the movie.

I'm not really excited, yet, because the release date is still too far away. When the release date gets closer (and pinned down) I think I'll start to get more excited. I may also try to not get my hopes up too high for this.

I was so into the hype for the first Spider-Man movie that, when I saw it, I was a little disappointed. Same for Watchmen. I really didn't like a lot of parts in Watchmen because I had seen all the "making of" previews, interviews with the director, behind-the scenes featurettes, that it presented a much more awesome picture than it wound up being.

Still pretty good, but not great. Then again, I look at that pic of the light cycle and I start mentally drooling. Updated: Footage from Comic-Con: http://popwatch.ew.com/2009/07/29/tron-legacy-comiccon-footage/ Oh, boy, now I'm in trouble.

That looks beautiful. Impending geekgasm.

I just want to sit in the same room with all that lot of geeks and nerds and Dorks just like me, and laugh at the same jokes, hold my breath during the same action scenes and enjoy the movie with all those fellows :D Tron legacy is going to be fun just for that. Good luck :).

I am optimistic for this film, it is unbelievable that Disney made this movie...The trailer looks awesome..

I really enjoyed the classic TRON. However, I am very suspicious of remakes and sequels since most of them turn out much worse than the original. So I'm not excited because someone is trying a sequel.

If it turns out well that will be great, but I'm not holding my breath.

Ya dude.. m too much exited about it.. Its not this, but almost every upcoming movie's trailer is so powerful that it builds a craze for it.. So i'll definitely look to it that I see it..

I have seen the trailer of the movie but found nothing good in that.

Its been a long time since Tron came out and I am generally suspecious of remakes, on the other hand I like Sci-Fi so I will most likely see it when it comes out, my next sci-fi movies to see is district 9.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
