I think so. According to the Mahalo page for Jamie Pugh, he lied to the judges saying he had never been on stage before. Does it matter that he had never been on stage as a solo act?

Jamie Pugh appeared on last week’s Britain’s Got Talent and claimed to have never sang in front of an audience before. He also claimed to be suffering from severe stage fright. However The Sun reports today that Jamie has performed in London’s Wet End before and made a very good job of it.
