Wordpress gets confusing at times. You have TWO ways to add things: POSTS and PAGES POSTS would be for things like your blog. POSTS are pages that have time and date stamps and generally have a place at the bottom where visitors can comments.
POSTS only appear in one section and are not organized outside of categories. Unless you tell WP differently in the SETTINGS section on the left side POSTS will appear on the front or main page. Posts cannot have sub posts.
PAGES are for static things, like Contact us, about us, resources, etc. Pages can have sub pages, and can be ordered however you want them. Here's a good example of a wordpress site that uses PAGES as the meat of their page: shorelinebikesandkayaks.com/ Here's a link to more info concerning posts vs pages: support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ Quote from above link: "How do I post to a Page? It’s not possible to “post” to a page; pages are static entities that only can be edited.
Consider using posts and categories instead if you are using pages for several different subjects.
