Anyone know of any GREAT suspense/thriller books?

I think James Patterson's books are entertaining. I also think that David Baldacci does some great stuff with suspense. I also just finished "In the Woods" by Tana French; also an excellent and suspenseful read.

I would have to suggest one of my favorite authers, Nelson DeMille. Even if you have not heard of his books you likely know his work as many of his novels have found there way to becoming movies. The best of his work is the John Corey series which includes "Plum Island", "Lion's Game", "Night Fall" and "Wild Fire".

My favorite one is called Swan's Song by Robert McCammon. Many people have not heard of it, I am going to buy another copy soon because my copy was passed around so much it fell apart. Here is more info on it.

The Ladykiller by Martina Cole Nobody True by James Herbert The Woods by Harlan Coben The Straw Men by Michael Marshall The Lonely Dead by Michael Marshall Blood of Angels by Michael Marshall Just some of my favourites :).

Any of Harlan Coben's books...a few that stand out are: Tell No One The Woods Promise Me My husband cannot put them down, I am afraid to pick them up, need I say more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
