It is ridiculous to assume all the sightings are fake. The number of scientists who believe UFOs are real are numerous no matter what all the naysayers claim is "proof". If you are saying all sightings are fake you need to prove ALL are fake.
However, most governments ( including ours) admit the truth. Just because some on this site claim science backs them up, it does not mean it does. There is plenty of proof of UFOs are real right in front of your eyes.
Check out the facts. The pictures and videos are numerous and well documented and very intensely studied. The eyewitness reports come from far more qualified people than the ones here who pretend they are experts.
J Allen Hynek , PHD astronomer and science consultant to Project Blue Book; James A. McDonald, physicist;Stanton Friedman, physicist;Bruce Macabbe, optical physicist at US Naval Observatory; Edgar Mitchell, military pilot and astronaut. There is no one on this site that comes within a million miles of the credentials of these people.
NO ONE, no matter who they think they are or pretend to be. If you want to explore this issue, watch "Out of the Blue". It is a video about the scientists who know UFOs are real.
Wish you boy is completely wrong about there being no evidence, there are mountains of evidence.. Just the hundreds of thousands of verified reports are proof. Radar contacts have been made by highly experienced operators. Sighting have been made by pilots ( military and civilian) who are eminently qualified to judge whether an object they see is an aircraft or a extraterrestial craft.
There are hundreds of videos and photographs which are intensely examined and have been proven to not be faked or mistaken identifications. People with impeachable credentials have observed and photographed and video recorded UFOs.
That is the biggest problems with these "debates", where the party making the outlandish claim (e.g., aliens exist) get out of their obligation of proving their outlandish allegation by forcing the other side to prove the absence of an outlandish claim. This is why debates are NOT a reliable tool to get to the truth. They are just a game which, unfortunately, is often used to give credence to people who don't deserve any.
Never mind all the political debates which simply prove that good liars make perfect debaters, go back to the Great Debate (the Shapley–Curtis Debate) which finally proved that there is only one Galaxy in the universe... As for aliens, it is highly probable that life (even intelligent life) exists somewhere else in this very large universe. However, "highly probable" is not a proof. The arguments that are worth shooting down are linked to the outlandish claims that they are among us or that they made us or that they come on thousand-year trips just to trample our crops.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
