Send them letters telling them you are boycotting ALL their shows, and ALL their advertisers products - copy the Network, the producers AND the advertisers - until Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly are off the air they bring fairness and real news back to their shows. They're only in it for the money - they don't give a crap about politics, Glenn Beck said so himself.
Inherent in your question is the answer therein. You have a "slant" to your question. When CNN has distorted facts and promoted analysts with a certain agenda it might not have made it to court but it is just as heretic from the "truth".
That is why I don't get my truth from the news media. I listen to the news and try to ascertain the actual facts embedded in the mire of political and social opinions. I do not find that the media is good at factual reporting or pronouncing judgments.
But I do not think it is limited to a conservative agenda. These stations are mouthpieces, just as newspapers were before the massive video outlets, of their owners viewpoints. Trying to legislate truth through the politicians seems to me trying to get pigs to outlaw mud-baths.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
