Are degrees earned in online colleges and universities considered by employers?

To me, there is not definite way to answer this question. There are some employers that might look at a degree and not view it as viable while there are certain employers who might be focused more on the skills that you attained and your experience. I definitely believe that this depends on what type of job or field you are looking to enter.

Gher education is expensive and the great thing about online colleges and universities is that they offer education at a lower cost (which is great given the state of economy and the high amount of competition out there for jobs). If taking an online class is more attractive to you than learning in a traditional classroom, then one option that you can consider is taking online classes at a traditional university since most of them do offer online classes and in some cases degrees as well. This would give you the flexibility of an online degree program and the name recognition of the traditional university. To be honest, education alone (no matter where the degree is obtained from) is not enough to separate one from other applicants.

Employers consider applicants in terms of education, experience, internships and etc. Before you enroll in any program, make sure that you check the accreditation of the institution and the services and programs that they provide to students.

You will most likely not be able to impress employers if you earn your degree from dubious universities or diploma mills. On the other hand, online degrees earned from accredited and reputed schools are equally valid as classroom-based programs. Accreditation from a nationally or regionally recognized agency is an indicator of the quality standards of education imparted at an institution.

Most online degrees offered by reputed schools have the same curriculum and complexity as traditional programs and I think modern-day employers are cognizant of this fact.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
