For the most part energy drinks are safe as long as you aren’t drinking an entire case of them in one sitting. Whether they are actually effective is usually up to the person taking them and the purpose behind them taking them. If someone hasn’t slept in two days and begins taking energy drinks as a substitute for sleep the probably are not going to see a high level of effectiveness.

If they are taking the pills or the drinks just for a quick boost of energy then they will be more effective. I recently tried the Five Hour Energy drink because I was feeling run down and had to make a long trip in the car and I don’t think it affected me in the slightest. I still felt run down and groggy even after I gave the drink ample chances to start working.

The question isn’t as simple as it sounds. Generally speaking, yes, energy drinks and pills are both safe and effective. However, it also depends on the active ingredients in the product you select.

Many energy drinks rely on ingredients like sugar and caffeine to boost the user’s energy. Both of these ingredients are safe in moderation. Unfortunately, both of these ingredients also tend to cause a crash (which is an energy level lower than the level you had to begin with).

In some cases, energy pills and drinks contain herbal ingredients which cause anxiety, elevated heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and allergic reactions. Allergic reactions to the ingredients contained in these products range from mild to death. If these products are safe for the majority of users, but dangerous for an unlucky few, then they may not be worth the risk.

Personally, I always found that Gatorade worked well for endurance and stamina during a workout without causing the unpleasant side effects of products which contain ingredients like ephedra (for example).

I have never used energy drinks, so I can't tell you how they would affect me, nor can I comment on their taste. Having done some research, I can say that most energy drinks are safe when consumed in moderation. There are ingredients in them when taken in excess or combined with other substances that can make them a bit dangerous.

Energy drinks contain sugar, sodium and caffeine, all of which are dangerous when consumed in high dosages for diabetics and for people with high or low blood sugar. Energy drinks are stimulants which can also increase the heart rate and blood pressure, sometimes leading to palpitations. Some people like to feel the buzz they get while drinking an energy drink, so they consume one right after another.

Combine that with alcohol and one may get the feeling of an unstoppable high. None of this is good for you. Is isn't smart for athletes to use energy drinks because the body needs to replenish itself of electrolytes and the caffeine in the drinks acts as a diuretic, the exact opposite of what is needed.

It can be safe. Just don't take pills and the nergy drinks that might be some type of risk and bad for your health in some type of way.

Someone suggested me to take energy drinks like Red Bull when feeling excess fatigue at work. Even though I go for a one hour work out in the morning, I am suffering from stiffness of neck muscle spasms from the last six years. When I feel stiffness, I feel excess fatigue and energy drain.

I want to know how effective are energy drinks (like Red Bull) and how safe for health.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
