It is valuable to actually use the Bible to answer questions about what's in the Bible. This time I'll summarize AND refer to the verse that was used to answer it. NOTE: Do not take anyones word for what the Bible says.
Always read and study it for yourself. While I'm confident there is only one answer possible, it is important for you to learn it for yourself. Spiritualism is a belief that departed spirits can communicate with the living.
This goes back to ancient times and we are instructed not to seek after those who make such claims. (Leviticus 19:31 also 1 Chronicles 10:13, 14. ) It is dangerous even to listen to their teachings.(Jeremiah 27:9, 10.) The very subject and practice is an abomination to God.
(Deuteronomy 18:10-13. ) The Bible even goes so far as to say that those who practice, preach, teach and advocate these lies "shall not inherit the kingdom of God".(Galatians 5:20-23.) The Bible is pretty clear on the matter. We are admonished to look to God for answers, not the dead.(Isaiah 8:19 NOTE: This verse is one of those that is hard to understand in the Old English format, but a newer translation is helpful if it doesn't make sense right away.
) We are told in the Bible that "if there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them: thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams…" etc.Which is to say that even if someone can impress you with their claims, if the end result is to convince you to ignore scripture and turn to other ways of worship or other gods - do not listen. God and s word should always be your guide in these matters. (Deuteronomy 13:1-4.) The Bible is clear that when we die, the dead know nothing.(Job 14:20, 21.
) At the very moment they cease to live their thoughts perish.(Psalm 146:4. ) And if all of those verses and teachings aren't clear, consider Ecclesiastes 9:6."Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. " Done and done.
The Bible also tells us that in spite of all the information, examples and knowledge to the contrary there will still be people that fall for the deception.(1 Timothy 4:1.) We have examples of this in every walk of life, even Presidents. What is Satan and his angels got to do with all this? Well, Satan can appear not as himself, even appearing as an angel of light.(2 Corinthians 11:14.) And his angels can appear as ministers of righteousness.
(Verse 15. ) They will even go so far as to attempt to counterfeit the coming of Christ and work signs and wonders to confirm their claims.(Matthew 24:23, 24.) But the people of God will not be fooled for the teachings of the false Christ will not coincide with scripture. Satan will not be permitted to counterfeit the manner of Christ's second coming.
Specifically (for example) as mentioned in Revelation 1:7, "every eye shall see (Before anyone claims that is not possible, do a little more research. Even scientists have theories about that claim. ) Yet in spite of the fact that the Bible is able to predict these deceptions, people who don't cling to scripture will still be fooled.
In Revelation 13:13, 14 Satan (in disguise of course) will make fire come down from heaven and command us all to worship one who was wounded by a sword but still lives.(Horribly paraphrased, sorry.) Other verses predict these deceptions just prior to Christ's actual second coming.(2 Thessalonians 2:9, 10 see also Revelation 12:12. ) But there will be those who remain faithful to God's teachings.(Isaiah 25:9. ) We are instructed to remain sober and vigilant; because our adversary the devil, roams the earth as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.(See 1 Peter 5:8.) Personal commentary aside, the answers are there.
It's all been foretold and is happening exactly as written There's no excuse for not knowing anymore. Time is short, relatively speaking.
Ask your own soul and see what the answer will be. You do have one that want's to speak with you. Ghosts are the human definition of you without a physical body.
You still exist but without a body made of flesh and bones. Spirits are the same, but ghosts is a term for people who don't have realised that they have died or have trouble leaving this life behind. The bible talks so much about sin and falling angles this and that.
Good made you in his image which it says in the bible. Talking about sin is the biggest tragedy that the bible has ever done because sin doesn't exist. Thinking makes it so.
The Bible teaches that fallen angels are invisible, supernatural, angelic, spirits created by God. Satan employs them as his immoral agents. After one-third of the heavenly angels sided with Satan, they were cast out of heaven to the earth (Revelation 12:4).
The Bible calls fallen angels devils, demons, evil, and unclean spirits. Their lust for power is matched with an evil mind, emotions, and will. While the Bible doesn’t offer the exact number of angels, the hosts could outnumber people.
Of all the multitudes of angels God created, fallen angels comprise one-third. Satan keeps demons in bondage to his will: corrupting humans to separate them from God. Fallen Angels -- What are demons allowed and forbidden to do?
God controls the universe -- including Satan. However, He permits Satan to assign demons to activities and people to test. Demons tempt, accuse, and deceive.
Demons dominate and captivate people who practice sin. Demons can inflict disease, ruining bodies and souls (Luke 9:42).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
