Leather seats can be a good investment for a variety of reasons. Leather is one thing that people always like to have, so if they are in good condition you’ll be able to ask more for the car when you go to sell. The material is also easier to clean than fabric—simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and condition the leather every now and again and you are good to go!
Leather can get uncomfortable during the hot months, however. Skin sticks to leather much more easily than skin sticks to fabric. However, if your windows are tinted you shouldn’t have too much of a problem with this.
Should you ever have a small rip or tear, it can be more expensive to repair than if you had fabric. I’ve always had leather seats though, and have enjoyed them. The benefit of easy cleaning far outweighs any negatives about them.
They always look nice (lint doesn’t stick! ) and a quick conditioning of the leather always brings back that “new car smell. €?
That is perhaps the best reason of all!
The thing with new cars that have leather seats, they come with other extra features to. One of the pros is that they often times have seat warmers. They are great for cold winters.
However, leather seats are going to be more expensive.
I personally think that leather seats are always a good idea. As the source below notes, they almost always add value to a vehicle during resale, too. My current vehicle has leather seats and I'm very happy with it.
Cloth seats are especially irritating when wearing suits as the lint always comes off on the pants and jacket. As noted by one of the other answerers here, leather seats can also help a vehicle keep it's "new car smell" for longer, and with the right conditioner, forever. The cons of a leather interior can include the slipperiness of the surfaces if it is a performance car (you may slide during quick maneuvers) as well as the fact that they can get sticky in the heat.
Fortunately, many leather seat packages now come with cooled seats, and some luxury sedans also have automatic sunshades.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
