They look alike because they are sisters--family resemblances between even non-twin siblings can be very strong. A child can resemble the parent or grandparent so strongly that when pictures of the two relatives at the same age are conpated, they do look like "twins". Cousins, nieces or nephews, aunts uncles--any two or three or four people sharing the same genetic material--can look alike to a small or great degree.
When the Olsen twins were younger, they resembled each other enough to play the same TV character. Later on, they look quite different ( though still like sisters). Some people are also better than others at discerning facial and other differences between individuals who share some basic similarities.
There are some folks who think all members of various ethnic groups look exactly alike one another and can't be swayed from their opinions even if friends point out that Doug looks nothing at all like Fred. Seeing both daily would help them know who is who. Even identical twins have small differences to tell them apart.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
