Are mermaids real yes or no?

First off our ancient and modern ancestors have left us a ton of drawing and carving and their written word about what happen when they came in contact with merfolks..... Now I am not talking about a hundred years ago, For some of their carving and drawing are tens of thousands of years old............. But for what-ever reason there are still people out there that believe what our ancestors witness is false or miss-identified sea creature.................. Also there are a ton of reports that was put together by our modern Navies, From the Revolutionary War and the Civil War and WW-II and the Korean War that confirms their contact with merfolks, Which means that our and other Governments are still lying to their people about the true existences of merfolks..............Now I also believe that merfolks should be protected from certain members of humanity that would kill off merfolfs until they become an extinct species......... But then again are the people of this world mature enough to respect their right to exist.......................

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
