Are questions ever closed if they go unanswered?

Unanswered questions are not closed, they do remain in the system waiting for someone to answer them. If you look through "unanswered" you will find the date the question was posted. Now, you can use the Report button on the question to say that it is never going to be answered and should be removed.

The powers that be will review your reported question and it may disappear ( it may not ). There are some very old questions that I keep looking at to see if I can now answer ( this one for example .... mahalo.com/answers/collecting/origin-of-... ). I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
