I'm neither qualified or have enough information to make a diagnosis but, to me it sounds like your suffering from Panic attacks, maybe due to the bullying and other stressers in your life. People who suffer from Anxiety or Panic attacks think there going crazy (they are not, I have a professor who one time said "Crazy people rarely think there crazy, and it sounds like your worried that you may be "crazy", in particular, it sounds like your scared that it's Bipolar disorder, despite the fact that there's no indicators of that. This creates a problem, you worry about being crazy and that can trigger a anxiety or panic attack, at that point the person typically believes there crazy, and about half of those with panic attacks believe they're dying (while having the panic attack.) Ultimately, there is only one thing you need to do and that is to see a M.D. in person.
Now for what really concerns me... First, your being verbally abused, which can be every bit as harmful as being assaulted physically. It sounds like there is a lot of weight on your shoulders and your under a lot of stress. When we don't cope with our problems it builds up and a lot of times this is the cause of Panic attacks.
My best advice is to see a Psychologist/Psychiatrist/or your family doctor (anyone who is a doctor, If I were you I would see a regular M.D., any M.D. , Afterwards, IMO your going to feel much better, in many cases people will avoid a doctor because they're afraid of being told "they're crazy". People who do this for years risk a nervous breakdown which takes months to recover from. If your under 25 and things seem to be getting better there's a good chance that you'll grow out of it.
My best advice to you is to see a Dr. so you have peace of mind.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
