Are Republican politicians interested in anything besides repealing health care reform and Roe vs. Wade?

Lobbyist money and greedy politicians is the main reason. Our elected officials are putting themselves ahead of what is best for the American people and a lot of this money, Dark Money, is flowing in from countries that hate us and into the hands of controversial political parties like Citizens United, AKA the tea party, who passes it on to members of congress who they also helped place into those positions. When Citizen United, Big health care and pharmaceutical company Lobbyist offer to pay an average of 1.3 million dollars to certain members of congress to pass bills and filibuster it is hard to resist money for doing nothing.

This IRS scandal is going to open up a can of worms for these 370 political groups ( 70 are tea party) because the voters are learning so much more about them than they ever wanted us to know about them and their secrets. Americans have a right to know which country this Dark money is coming from and which politician took the money. Unless of course, this is also secret tea party privileged information.

Every night last week david Letterman exposed a different Republican who voted against gun reform and the average amount the NRA paid them which was 1.3 million dollars each. Letterman calls it 'The Hall of Shame". Portman from Ohio and Hoever from N.

Dakota voted against even though 94.7% of the people wanted better background checks. The irony of all this is that those who makes these Lobbyist laws legal are those who have profited by the very laws they pass. Personally, I don't think anyone is above the law.

Not even the law makers who are no better than the thieves, and scam artists sitting in jail. We have too many uninsured people in this country and many are children... how can Boehner, and his friends, sleep at night.

Look.........the 2012 primary and election loss, rendered them all but meaningless and pointless. It will take at least half a dozen election cycles before they regain an OUNCE of credibility again, (if they EVER do, and give up the path of blazing stupidity they have been on lately.........so what's left for them? Just alot of yammering to their own base, to justify their salaries and fancy offices.

They are beyond ridiculousness....with all their Birther and Benghazi whining.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
