Are Sociopath Born With Sociopathic Behavior or Are Created?

BOTH. Lets look at the life an death of one Theodore Robert Bundy, otherwise known as the famous American serial killer and death row heart throb, "Ted Bundy.

Nobody has ever known who Ted's biological father was-and it's widely speculated that his grandfather was also his father. If that sad case of incest is indeed true-then Ted is a perfect example of how incest creates sociopaths.

As for my answer being "both," I think that gene pool inadequacies combined with horrific parenting can also produce the same.

Created for sure, you can have a mental illness but to be a sociopath that is a learned behavior!

From what I remember reading a while ago it could be either. However I think the claim that people that were born with sociopathic behavior has never proven although it is believed to be due to genetic faults.

The second is pretty straightforward to understand how people get affected because of situations and turn into sociopaths.

The best explanation i've heard is that sociopathy results from inconsistent parenting before the age of five.

I think they learn it due to their environment as well as the people (whether family members or friends) they live and interact with. If they are used to dysfunctional and reckless behavior they naturally accept and adapt to as though it is "normal". All learned behavior, but they can also choose to distance themselves and behave and interact accordingly.It's all about choice.

On the genetic part yes (born), and on bad association or company is also yes (created).

I don't think any1s born w/ a mental illness. I think its likely developed by a chemical imbalance.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
